Stéphane Benini is an award-winning AI filmmaker and visual artist exploring the frontier between human emotion and machine-driven imagination. Through film and visuals, he creates stories about memory, identity and the invisible forces that shape us, using AI as a new kind of camera.
1931, French Guiana. A group of convicts escapes the penal colony of Cayenne and disappears into an unexplored part of the Amazon. What begins as an escape slowly becomes a descent into an almost mythological world.
