An AI-powered visual translation of The Poe-et’s Nightmare — H.P. Lovecraft’s 1916 poetic message to Edgar Allan Poe. THE POEM explores language as both poetry and mathematics, conceptualized as structural media of the universum — from the perceivable to the unthinkable.
Instead of illustrating the poem’s events, the work decodes its symbolic framework, projecting it into a coherent visual manuscript with surreal, antique graphic aesthetics. The core of THE POEM is not only the obtained visuals, but the act of projection itself — “from the written unseen to the unspeakable evident.”
THE POEM exists across three formats:
