60-second animated brand film for Mint Dentistes / VOCLI Dental, a Belgian network of dental clinics.
Pierre is an independent dentist whose days are eaten up by administration. The film dramatises the chaos of running a practice alone, then reveals what Mint offers: a shared services centre that takes that weight off the dentist’s shoulders, so he can get back to his patients.
The challenge was to talk to dentists about paperwork without boring them, and to answer their real fear about joining a network without ever stating it head-on. So the film relies on characters, small moments and humour rather than arguments. It ends inside a patient’s mouth, with Pierre winking at the camera through the dental mirror.
Real members of the Mint team appear as characters alongside fictional ones.
Visual direction: stylised painterly 3D with visible brushstrokes, matte surfaces, faceted faces and hands, golden-hour key light, lifted blue-tinted blacks and a palette limited to two families, warm ochre and cool teal. References: Flow by Gints Zilbalodis for the look, Spielberg for the camera (low angles, depth, backlight, push-ins).
Written, storyboarded and directed by Ludovic (Sayki Studio). Half the work went into analysis, script and storyboard, half into AI production and editing.
Pipeline: Nano Banana (images with character and set references), Seedance 2.5 (animation), Topaz Video AI (4K upscale), final grade with 35mm grain.
