This teaser marks the first official step in the development of Tinka Meisterträumerin (Tinka, Master Dreamer), my first full AI feature film project. It is based on the children’s book by Peter Dreißig and developed together with Martin Lehwald of the Berlin production company Schiwagofilm.
Tinka is a master dreamer: when she dreams, she knows she’s dreaming, and she can do whatever she wants in there. But then the dreams around her begin to disappear, and Tinka might be the only one who can bring them back. The teaser gives a first taste of Tinka’s world and its dream logic.
The story instantly reminded me of my own lucid dreaming adventures. We’re now writing an extended version that weaves my personal dream experiences into Tinka’s journey.
