Lucid Dream Travels | AI Short Film Testing Runway Aleph and Act 2

What if you could change your world just by imagining it? In this ai short film I explore how lucid dreaming lets me travel anywhere, simply by reshaping my environment through thought. Created with Runway Aleph, Runway Act‑2, Kling, Hailuo, Midjourney, and ElevenLabs voice synthesis. I took a short break from a bigger project I’m working on at the moment to run a little test on Runway Aleph and Runway Act-2. I like a lot where both of these tools are heading! But while I feel that Act-2 is usable despite a little bit of quality loss, Aleph does degrade the footage a lot more, also tends to sometimes change faces quite a bit. While that might not be very noticeable on smartphones, it definitely does show on bigger screens. But as always with AI tools: Their current state is the worst they’ll ever be so I’m excited about follow-up versions. Also I’m sure we’ll be seeing similar options in other models, soon – Luma already has something with their „Modify Video“ option. What are your thoughts? About this little short: Aleph inspired me to try to show how I’m sometimes able to change the environment of my lucid dreaming world just by imagination. I don’t need to travel „physically“, I can just visualize wherever I want to go. If you haven’t tried, I totally recommend! It’s so much fun! Sometimes simply opening a door and imagining what is behind it can help. Also spinning your dream body can give you similar results.
