BROKEN delves into a society where appearance dominates and prejudices shape our perception. Through its characters, it reveals invisible lives, reduced to stereotypes. The mirror, a metaphor for the social gaze, reflects both the imposed labels and the hidden truths. It questions discriminations, racism, sexism, violence, exclusion and unveils the humanity behind every hasty judgment. This face-to-face with the reflection becomes a revealer, confronting each individual with their own certainties. For what escapes our gaze may well be what most profoundly defines our humanity.
