THE ORDER OF HERUS: Chapter One – Dawn of the Heru

On the world of Kemet Prime, three suns rise over a golden Afrofuturist Egypt where gods rule and humans are permitted only a fraction of their power. It is not a limitation. It is a ceiling, enforced for millennia by a ruling class who understood that a people who know their own worth cannot be governed.

Horus, god of the sky and protector of Memphis, believes that ceiling is a lie. He opens a school and teaches humans the forbidden mystery system, the knowledge that would make them his equals. His uncle Set considers it a fatal mistake. Humans, he argues, are volatile and unworthy; power will not change them, it will only free them to reveal what they are.

When a human student is accused of murdering a god and executed as a warning, the land ignites. What no one sees is the design underneath it: a conspiracy generations in the making, engineered to turn Kemet Prime against Horus, burn Memphis to the ground, and put a god on an altar at the precise moment the three suns align, the hour when the veil between worlds thins and divine blood can remake reality.

At the center of it is Nenet, Horus’s seven-year-old daughter, who inherits a throne, a war, and a power she cannot control. Around her stand a general who loves her like a daughter, a mystic who raised her, three children who become warriors before they are old enough to understand why, and a father who taught her that the universe does not revolve around anyone at its center.

Some of them will not survive the alignment.

A three-hour animated epic about knowledge as liberation, about people told they were lesser discovering they were always gods, and about a city that burns and comes back.

Written, designed, scored, animated, and edited by a single filmmaker over five years. Chapter One of a planned trilogy.
