The Final Draft 2026, presented as the Ckript Global Story Challenge, is a 48-hour international writing competition bringing together storytellers from around the world to create original scripts based on a common theme revealed at the start of the event.
Taking place from August 29, 2026, the challenge is open to aspiring writers, students and experienced professionals looking to put their creativity to the test and gain recognition for their work.

The concept is simple.
Participants receive a common theme at the beginning of the competition and have 48 hours to transform it into an original script.
By giving every participant the same starting point, The Final Draft creates a global writing challenge where different voices, ideas and approaches can emerge from one shared creative prompt.
Whether you’re an aspiring writer, a student or an experienced professional, the competition offers an opportunity to showcase your creativity alongside storytellers participating from around the world.
Meet the Judges
The Final Draft brings together storytellers and creative professionals to evaluate the work submitted during the challenge.
Jacob Jamieson is a multi-award-winning screenwriter and the Managing Director and founder of Rogue Productions in Italy. With eight completed screenplays and a growing production slate aimed at 2026, his work spans high adventure, intrigue and emotionally driven storytelling.
Rogue Productions is dedicated to helping filmmakers and writers reach the next level by championing story and creative vision. Jacob is also currently promoting the new film The Claimed.
Amarachi Joy Felix, also known as Diva Mentor, is a storyteller, author, screenwriter and script developer focused on family, relationships, human experiences and social realities.
Through Vibez with Amara, she works with storytelling and conversations centred around family, relationships, personal growth and meaningful human experiences, with the aim of inspiring, educating and encouraging hope.
Bringing Scripts to Life with Nexara
Nexara is an AI studio that brings imagination into reality.
The studio takes scripts and transforms them into trailers, while also creating cinematic brand films, AI influencers, and product and promotional videos for brands and agencies.
Its involvement connects directly with one of the opportunities offered through The Final Draft, where storytelling can move beyond the written page and begin taking visual form.
