A Childhood Game Reimagined Through AI
Remember the childhood game where someone starts a story, passes it along, and everyone adds their own part?
Inspired by the creative game Exquisite Corpse, The Chain Film Project brings that idea to AI filmmaking.
The concept is simple: 12 filmmakers, 15 seconds each, one shared story.
Every three days, a new 15-second chapter is released, and the story passes to the next creator, who takes it somewhere unexpected.
No script. No rules. Nobody knows how it ends.
Born from a Connection at SHAIKE Film Festival
The project was founded by Daniel Atzil, founder and creative director of ArcaneWiz, an AI film studio specializing in cinematic commercials and brand films.
With over 20 years of filmmaking experience, Daniel found inspiration at the SHAIKE Film Festival in La Ciotat.
“After SHAIKE Film Festival, I came home feeling that I had to find a way to keep creating with the remarkable filmmakers I’d met from around the world.”
What began as a conversation at the festival became an international creative experiment, connecting filmmakers through a story they build together.

The project is looking for filmmakers with a distinctive artistic vision and a passion for storytelling.
“I’m looking for filmmakers with a strong artistic voice, cinematic instinct and a real feel for storytelling – not just prompt technicians,” Daniel explains.
For him, the project also reflects the connections made possible through the SHAIKE community, where filmmakers from different countries and backgrounds can come together through their shared love of cinema.
The completed film will be available on the project’s website, SHAIKE and Instagram.
