Matthieu FLEURY

Matthieu Fleury is a French director and the founder, in New Caledonia, of MaestrIa, an AI animation studio of one.A storyteller by nature and a filmmaker by long detour, he spent five years in the video game industry before sailing the world for fifteen years, shooting documentaries and writing along the way.Settling in New Caledonia, he founded an improv theatre troupe. Years of inventing stories live, with nothing but imagination. When generative AI arrived, he found the tool he had been missing all his life: a way to finally put on screen the stories he had always carried in his head. For the past four years he has been writing, directing, animating and editing AI films for institutions and original animated shorts.
