Margarida Barreto is a Creative Director, AI artist, and partner at ELETRICO28, a design and technology agency based in Portugal with over 20 years of experience. Her work spans branding, web design, visual storytelling, and the practical integration of generative AI into creative workflows.She has been working with generative AI for over 5 years, combining design expertise with emerging tools to support creators, agencies, and organizations. Margarida is the author of The Midjourney Expedition, a practical guide to AI image creation, and a frequent speaker and educator on AI, creativity, ethics, and digital literacy.Alongside her agency work, she teaches internationally, collaborates with creative and educational communities, and co-founded CIA, a Portuguese AI community focused on responsible use, critical thinking, and real-world application of AI in design and communication.
