Eye of the Bull is a 2:35 AI short film told almost entirely from the animal’s point of view.
The film follows a bull raised to believe his life has purpose and value, only to discover that this “purpose” exists for human entertainment. Through a subjective camera and restrained narration, the viewer experiences confinement, preparation and entry into the arena as the bull perceives it. Confusion replaces certainty. Applause replaces care.
Rather than showing graphic violence, the film focuses on pressure, obedience and fear. The arena is not presented as spectacle, but as revelation. What was framed as tradition is revealed as betrayal.
The final sequence offers a symbolic escape. A field that never existed in life, but survives in memory. A place where the bull is not measured by applause, but allowed to exist.
AI was used not to embellish reality, but to create emotional distance. This allowed the story to be told without exploiting pain, while still confronting the truth behind the spectacle.
