The AI/VR Motion Picture Guild (AIVR MPG) is part of this movement.
Founded in California in 2025, the Guild is a professional association and neutral global platform supporting creators, technologists, platforms and institutions working across AI, VR and immersive cinema.
Building a Global Community for AI and Immersive Cinema
AIVR MPG focuses on connecting the different communities shaping this emerging field.
Its mission includes supporting collaboration, knowledge exchange, responsible innovation and greater visibility for emerging creative work.
The Guild has already developed connections across North America, Africa and Asia, with activities involving the United States, Nigeria and India.
Through global programmes, educational initiatives and community engagement, AIVR MPG is working to support a more connected ecosystem for AI, VR and immersive storytelling.
From Education to Responsible AI
The Guild’s activities extend across several areas of the emerging AI cinema landscape.
Its initiatives include educational workshops focused on AI filmmaking workflows and prompt engineering, as well as the development of an Ethical Standards Council supporting responsible, transparent and human-centred uses of AI in creative workflows.
AIVR MPG is also developing initiatives around immersive storytelling, industry recognition, emerging creators and international collaboration.
