Story: Lured by a cryptic and terrified letter from an old friend, a young Rajan journeys to the isolated, British-era hill station of Namtila in 1971. He finds a place drowning in a perpetual mist and haunted by the local legend of the Jokhini, or “witch.” As a mysterious humming melody from his own past begins to echo through the house each night, he is forced to investigate the dark history of the land. Jokhini, The Witch of Namtila is an atmospheric folk horror that explores the fine line between myth and memory, questioning how society transforms a misunderstood grief into a monstrous curse.
