Based on a true story. A woman sits for an interview and begins to remember 1986 — meeting the love of her life, starting a family, building a small world in the hills. But 1986 was also the year the Gorkhaland movement erupted across Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Kurseong, sweeping their lives and thousands of others into something no one could control.
