The AI Media Award is back for its second edition, celebrating creative projects that show how artificial intelligence is shaping new forms of content, storytelling and visual creativity.
The 2026 edition will culminate on 27 October at Kongresshaus Zurich, where selected finalists will present their work and compete for a total prize pool of CHF 3,500.
Six Ways to Create with AI
This year’s competition welcomes projects across six categories:
- AI Advertising
- AI Animation
- AI Art
- AI Fashion
- AI Music
- AI Narration
From visual storytelling and animation to music, fashion and advertising, the categories reflect the different creative fields where artists are already experimenting with AI.
Selected creators will have the opportunity to showcase their work in front of creators, industry experts and representatives from the media, technology and creative sectors.

longside the competition, the new AI Creator Day 2026 will take place from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
International AI creators, filmmakers, first movers and industry experts will share their experience, workflows and methods across AI video, storytelling, animation, music and professional content creation.
Announced speakers include MetaPuppet, Mark Wachholz and Cláudio Sá, with the sessions available both live in Zurich and via streaming.
The day will continue with a Red Carpet & Apéro from 6:00 pm, followed by the Award Show from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
SHAIKE x AI Media Award
Following our previous collaboration with the AI Media Award, SHAIKE is happy to once again support the event and share its second edition with our community.
We’re looking forward to discovering the projects selected this year and seeing the different ways creators are using AI across storytelling, art, music, animation, fashion and advertising.

Entries are open until 13 September 2026, with the finals taking place at Kongresshaus Zurich on 27 October 2026.
