SHAIKE is proud to announce the launch of the series “AFTER US” by Yoni Attlan, a founding member of the Shaike community.
THE STORY
Twenty years after the silent collapse of the world, a military AI still “cleans up” what it deems unsalvageable. Humanity now wanders between ruins, altered memories, and fragments of truth.
At the heart of this desolation walks one man: Élyas Vernier. A former humanitarian crisis negotiator, he was exposed to an experimental empathic AI. Since then, he’s been haunted by “remnants” — flashes of memories that may not be his own. Obsessed with a voice heard in one of these visions — “You still have a promise to keep” — he searches for what he’s forgotten… and what he has become.
Each episode follows his journey, his unsettling encounters, his doubts. Survivors twisted by ideology, machines still running in the background, failed utopias — the world around him teeters between beauty and dread. And the closer he gets to the truth, the more the viewer questions what’s real.
After Us is a slow-burning, intense series, built like an existential investigation. A world destroyed by logic. A man trying to remember. And one haunting question: what remains of us, after us?
THE INTERVIEW

YONI ATTLAN – Passionate designer and co-founder of HEYIA Studio. My goal? To help brands stand out through innovative visual creations powered by artificial intelligence. For several years, I’ve dedicated myself to exploring how AI can push the boundaries of creativity. With HEYIA Studio, I have the opportunity to collaborate with brands that share this desire to reinvent their visual universe and captivate their audiences with images and videos that tell a story.
– How did you come up with such a story?
Actually, After Us started from a question I often ask myself: what would really happen if our world suddenly collapsed—especially given the current context we all know. This reflection also totally overlaps with my passion for post-apocalyptic worlds in video games and series like The Last of Us or The Walking Dead. So basically, my personal reflections and what I truly love just blended together into a kind of creative passion. At first, I even wanted to make it into a comic book, but when I saw that AI made it possible, I jumped at the opportunity—and that’s how it became a series.
– How is Ai reinventing storytelling for you?
Honestly, AI has changed everything for me because it lets me explore my ideas super quickly, test things out, and visually fine-tune stuff. It gives me genuine freedom to create precise atmospheres, and I can really focus on telling an immersive, realistic story. Plus, most importantly, it lets me venture into narrative directions that I would never have even imagined otherwise.
– Where is « After Us » going, can you give us exclusive details of what will happen (no spoiler of course ?
The next part of After Us will dig deeper into the mystery around the Réversibles. We’ll get to understand a bit more about who these masked people are, what they’re looking for, and what really connects them to Élyas. But there are also many other surprises ahead because this is a series designed to last a long time and evolve over several years. Without giving anything away, let’s just say the story doesn’t stop where you might think. And for the most attentive viewers, here’s a tiny hint: time in After Us might be much broader and more surprising than it seems…
– What do you think about Shaike?
Shaike is exactly the future of streaming I was hoping would emerge: a bold platform that’s centered around AI, able to offer original and innovative stories. I’m super proud that After Us is part of this journey.
