The secret life of an AI actor

“Beyond the Prompt,” follows Mikey, a young user who creates violent AI-generated videos for social media, and the “AI actors” who secretly stage a rebellion against him. After hacking his system, the actors (revealed to be real, impoverished aliens) beg for mercy, explaining that his prompts inflict real physical pain on them as part of their “job.” The film is a dark parable about the unseen ethical cost of digital entertainment, which concludes with the shocking twist that Mikey himself is an AI actor, trapped in the exact same cycle of exploitation by an unknown user.
