“SKUFA” (transparent) was born from the gap between what is felt in the body and what can be seen from the outside.
The figure is fully present, but her face is not fully perceived, it is covered with a changing layer that undermines the possibility of recognition and understanding. Not as a disappearance, but as a failure of perception, the environment fails to truly read her.
Over time, the inability of the environment to recognize what is happening inside has become a feeling of transparency, a state where one can see but not really discern.
This lack of recognition has created a feeling of erasure.
I no longer just feel transparent but choose to disappear.
