Valerii Kocherhan

Valerii Kocherhan is a Ukrainian-born film director and screenwriter with nearly fifteen years in the industry, now based in the UK. His work sits where traditional cinema meets AI-driven production: he builds full pipelines across Runway, Midjourney, Kling, Sora and ElevenLabs while staying grounded in classical directing craft.His films travel internationally. His diploma short CARBON was selected for the BASTAU festival in Kazakhstan, and his wartime short FORCED earned selections at two international festivals. Shortly before the war, his feature Guilty won Ukraine's State Film Agency competition in the debut feature category. His feature screenplays have since advanced through the Sundance Development Track. He trained in Directing and Cinematography at Pinewood Studios.His work returns to a single question, the price of truth: whether what is true is worth the cost of telling it.
