Nam An Trịnh

Hi, I’m Nam An Trinh, a visual artist, filmmaker, and graphic designer with over 10 years of experience across moving image, design, and illustration. My work focuses on cinematic visual language shaped by memory, atmosphere, and emotional tension, often blurring the line between reality and perception. I’m drawn to moments that feel quiet but unsettling, where something beneath the surface begins to shift. My visual works are not about telling stories directly, but about creating spaces where emotion can exist, where the audience can feel, question, and sit with what is unresolved. Memory, to me, is unstable. It distorts, fades, and returns in fragments, and I try to capture that through image, sound, and rhythm. I’m also interested in exploring AI-generated visuals as a new territory, not as a replacement for traditional filmmaking, but as a parallel space with its own language and possibilities. A space where new forms of storytelling can emerge without being measured by the same standards. Through this, I hope to build a body of work that feels both intimate and unfamiliar, something that lingers, even after the image disappears.
