Matteo Campulla (Iglesias, Sardinia - 1982) is an interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in Milan. His practice spans glitch art, experimental video, textual and sound-based approaches, employing a language that challenges the stability of form, identity, and narrative. His poetics revolve around an aesthetics of failure and instability, where technology is never neutral but becomes fallible flesh and unstable archive.He composes all the music for his videos, blending glitch soundscapes, noise, and spoken word with pulsating, unsettling rhythms. His approach is radically authorial yet open to contamination: he has collaborated with numerous artists, developing projects ranging from textual performance to interaction with artificial intelligence.His work is driven by a constant critical and poetic tension: it does not seek perfection, but the disturbing truth of broken machines, system errors, and marginal voices that still resist within the loops of modernity.
