Emmanuel Olajide is a Nigerian AI filmmaker, director, and cinematographer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, he brings over a decade of professional experience in film and television production, combining traditional cinematic craftsmanship with cutting-edge generative AI to create compelling visual stories.Before transitioning into AI filmmaking, Emmanuel built an extensive career across film and television. He directed the DStv and Showmax reality series Love Come Back Season 1 and served as Director of Photography on the Showmax Original documentary I Am Laycon and Judging Matters Seasons 1 and 2. His credits also include Camera Operator on The Back Story (SABC 3) and the Netflix Nollywood feature films Seven and Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story, as well as Sound Recordist and Assistant Editor on CNBC Africa's Access Africa Season 3. Today, Emmanuel specialises in AI-powered filmmaking, using advanced generative tools to produce cinematic short films.
