Agnė Gintalaitė is a visual artist and researcher who began exploring generative AI as a way to create photographic imagery without a camera. Drawn by its capacity to reimagine rather than reproduce, she shifted toward experiments with AI-generated moving images. Her work investigates not how GAI imitates human creativity, but how its errors reveal a new visual logic. These glitches become gateways into an emergent, hybrid reality shaped by human imagination and the algorithm’s nonhuman ways of interpreting its training data.
