What force am I that builds to break, yet breaks to build another’s wake?
For centuries, humankind’s appetite for destruction remains unmatched. We build monuments and hide stories in the cracks between. ‘Rimbs on Blues’ build on made-up memories of destruction and creation, cycling perspectives while questioning the weaved fabric of storytelling.
It’s part of my series of simulated fictional documentary essays “Algorithmic States”, in which I include AI in my artistic practice, working from a seed idea or concept and adjusting along the way. Incorporating new ideas and meaning as I work my way through multiple tools and workflows.
Sound ends up like a grounding force, bringing order and a higher degree of control into a somewhat chaotic process.
