Set in 1990s working-class Spain, LOT 94 follows Julián, an ordinary man crushed by isolation and an aggressively bleak routine. Desperate to inject some action into his stagnant life, he purchases a dubious teleshopping miracle cure called “Dream Shots.”
Disregarding the instructions, Julián begins mixing the shots, hoping to curate his own intensity, but the chemical shortcut works a little too well. He is violently thrust into a hyper-saturated, uncontrollable trip where the product’s promise of a better life unravels into a surreal nightmare. As the simulation begins to fracture, Julián learns the hard way that in the world of Dream Shots, you get exactly what you paid for, and there is no off switch.
LOT 94 is a dark, whimsical comedy exploring the chaotic price of artificial escapism and the absurdity of chasing a reality that was never meant to be sold.
