Kingdom Plantae

Kingdom Plantae is a speculative fiction exploring a future where humanity has gone extinct after irreversibly disrupting Earth’s balance. Nature, marked by anthropization and contaminated by technology, re-emerges in a hybrid form: ecosystems reconstructed through data and pixels, luminescent plants reduced to simulacra, kept alive by a generator on a natural/artificial platform.
This work, born from the collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence, challenges the anthropocentric perception of reality and subverts traditional biological classifications, offering a fluid vision of endangered biodiversity. Beyond dystopia, the video transforms into a visual poem where nature and technology intertwine in a cycle of mutation and regeneration. Citron | Lunardi combine digital processing, artificial sounds, and fossilized fragments to create landscapes suspended between past and future, evoking a posthuman world in constant evolution.
