This film moves from fire to grief to the cosmos in thirty-six seconds Khandava burning in a tornado of flame, the golden chariot charging through dust, Abhimanyu’s arrows still in his chest, and then the Vishwarupa six arms, spinning Sudarshana, lightning splitting the sky behind a god who had been disguised as a charioteer.
