What role does Indonesian culture (mythology, art, music, cinema) play in shaping your AI films?
DIKA KARAN
Indonesian culture ranging from mythology and art to music and traditional cinema plays a vital role in shaping my films. These cultural elements inspire my visuals and enrich the narratives, giving the works emotional depth and a distinct identity. For me, bringing these influences into the AI medium is both a way of preservation and a way to share them with international audiences.
Indonesia is not just joining the AI filmmaking wave — it’s redefining it.
With cultural depth, creative hunger, and fearless experimentation, this new generation of Indonesian creators is showing the world what posthuman storytelling can become.
