Hi

This work is titled “Hi.”
The piece follows, in fragments, a woman looking directly into the camera as she grows older, accompanied by a recorded answering-machine message.
The words feel slightly awkward, carrying a subtle sense of uncertainty. They seem directed toward someone else, yet at the same time they sound as if they are spoken to the self. An echo moving across time — from oneself, back to oneself.
Through the changing face, the work quietly traces the passage of a life:
the tenderness of continuing, the inevitability of leaving things behind,
moments of calm, unexpected incidents,
the weight of the past and the pull of the future.
It is a work about memory — not as a fixed record, but as something that accumulates, erodes, and transforms.
The gaze remains the same.
Everything else changes.
