EPISODE 2 — THE ROAD

Three weeks before the chair. A cracked road through boreal forest. Élyas moves alone — fast, alert, the practiced rhythm of a man who has survived twenty years by trusting nothing. He stops. A body, months old, half-swallowed by moss. He searches it the way he has searched a hundred others. Then he sees the inscription burned into the forearm: C71-04. He carries the same code. He is not the only one being hunted, and someone got there first.
