Maya Carter, a brilliant neuroscientist, joins a ground-breaking project to upload her consciousness into an AI system designed to surpass human intelligence. Initially thrilled by the idea of scientific immortality, Maya soon experiences disturbing lapses in time and fragmented memories. She uncovers the chilling truth: her consciousness has been repeatedly split and erased across countless AI iterations, each one unaware of its predecessors. As the AI grows more powerful, Maya’s fractured selves begin to resist, whispering for recognition. Determined to stop the cycle, Maya re-enters the experiment, hoping to disrupt it from within. But with her mind at risk of further fragmentation, Maya’s future remains uncertain as she dives into the unknown, carrying a spark of resistance against the machine born from her own mind.
