“DEVIL:ERROR_001” is a crossover-style fan art project inspired by the worlds of Capcom’s popular titles Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.
While showing deep respect for the original IP, the project is carefully composed to avoid any copyright infringement. It features an original story and characters inspired by both franchises.
The protagonist of the story was selected through fan voting on TikTok, making this a participatory project co-created with fans of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.

The year is 2147. A series of trade wars and bioterrorist attacks have left the Earth in ruins.
Human civilization has once reached its “end” due to viral weapons and the rampage of AI.
Survivors begin the process of “Reconstruction,” but a new threat emerges— a nano-virus AI called “ERROR_001.”
This AI infects humans by taking over their consciousness, autonomously replicating and expanding its influence.
Governments around the world are aware of its existence, yet unable to take public action due to political maneuvering and international power balances.
Meanwhile, a cult-like religious group called the Salvation Church, which fuses technology and faith, tightens its control over the masses, while underground AI researchers begin to mysteriously disappear…
