This AIMV is a fusion of Chinese folk song “Dance of Youth” and the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone — a bold new experiment.
The artist Lucy.D.Xie personified the fleeting nature of youth as Persephone herself. The lyrics say: “The sun sets but rises again tomorrow, flowers fade but bloom again next year” — nature possesses eternal cycles, but for Persephone as an individual, “my youth, like a bird, will never return” is the cruel truth.
