Kara
A local and visual character designer.
Kara is an open-source character designer. Build a character from simple menus, add reference images if you like, and get a clean character sheet from the image model of your choice: on your own computer through ComfyUI, or online through Comfy Router, KIE, fal or Magnific with your own key.
Kara: a visual, open-source character designer based on ComfyUI
Kara is a free, open-source visual character designer. Instead of describing everything in a prompt, you make selections from menus, and Kara writes the prompt for you (you can still add your own words, too). You get a clean character sheet featuring front and back views, a close-up of the face, turnarounds, three-quarter or profile views, all in the style of your choice. Two ways to generate your images: On your own computer, free. Install Kara from GitHub, plus ComfyUI (free, from comfy.org) on the same machine. Kara then runs locally with official ComfyUI workflows, and your characters never leave your computer. With an online model, no local ComfyUI needed. Bring your own key from Comfy Router, KIE, fal or Magnific. It works from the installed Kara or from the online version, with nothing to install. Kara displays the cost before every click.
