**Terms and Conditions of the “Las Flores” Festival**

1. **Participation and Eligibility:**
– The “Las Flores” film and technology festival is open to filmmakers and content creators from around the world.
– Participants must be 18 years of age or older, or have the consent of a legal guardian to participate.
– Short films in the categories of fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, and audio, created using artificial intelligence, AR (Augmented Reality), and VR (Virtual Reality) technology, will be accepted.

2. **Registration and Deadlines:**
– Short films must be submitted before the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be considered for evaluation.

3. **Short Film Requirements:**
– The maximum permitted duration for short films is 15 minutes, including credits.
– Short films must meet the technical quality standards set by the festival.
– Only one short film per participant or production team will be accepted.

4. **Festival Rights:**
– The “Las Flores” festival reserves the right to refund the registration fees of short films that do not meet the criteria established by the festival.
– The festival has the exclusive right to screen the selected short films at the festival venues during the event dates.

5. **Intellectual Property:**
– Participants will retain all intellectual property rights to their short films.
– By submitting a short film to the “Las Flores” festival, participants grant the festival the non-exclusive right to screen the short film at the festival venues during the event dates.

6. **Selection and Awards:**
– Selected short films will be announced prior to the start of the festival.
– There will be winners in each of the aforementioned categories, as well as special awards at the discretion of the jury.
– Winners must be available to sign a contract granting the festival the right to screen their short film at the festival venues during the event dates.

7. **Final Provisions:**
– Participants are responsible for ensuring that their short film does not infringe on the copyrights or other rights of third parties.
– The decision of the jury is final and not subject to appeal.
– The “Las Flores” festival reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
