Your grandmother’s warnings were never just stories.

This film pulls from the spaces Indian folklore tells you never to enter alone the banyan tree after midnight where a Churel crawls headfirst down the trunk with joints bent backward. The smashan ghat where an Aghori holds a skull and a trishula between burning pyres under a full moon. The lava pits of Naraka where a thousand Pretas reach upward and scream without sound. The quiet South Indian street where a Naga the size of a temple gopuram rears its hood over parked scooters and sleeping homes.

Volume One is not a single story  it’s a cosmology. Dragon-beasts in moss-covered ruins. A colossal storm-cloud bull crackling with lightning over a farmer’s cart. A red-skinned Rakshasa with a golden crown crawling across a temple ceiling toward a monk who refuses to move.

In Indian dark folklore, the monsters are not fiction. They are the reason the rituals exist.
