Between the Lines

Between the Lines is a film about going home, and about realising too late how far we have gone.
A young man returns to Colombia after losing his grandmother, and finds that she left him more than he knew.
The film was made with AI animation in a hand-painted style, but it comes from a very human place. Its creators are Colombians living far from home, and the story is built from their own memories: the houses, the silences, the families they left behind. An original score works as a second voice, filling the spaces where words fail.
Created by Beat Maps Squad in association with JD Media, it is for anyone who has left home and felt that solitude runs in the family.
