Alexander Khlopenko

Alexander Khlopenko is a Ukrainian filmmaker, creative director and founder of MATIO, an AI-native studio developing original films, series and cinematic worlds. His work explores how emerging generative tools can be used as part of a real filmmaking process — from storytelling and visual development to production and post-production. Through MATIO, he focuses on building original cinematic IP and creating emotionally driven stories where AI serves the vision, rather than becoming the subject itself.
