Ogo Okpue is an award-winning British-Nigerian filmmaker, VFX/motion graphics artist and creative director based in Essex, UK. He is the founder of Adverto, a production company focused on creating bold, world-class genre stories centred on characters and cultures of diverse heritage.His debut feature, A Song From The Dark, was acquired by Amazon Prime Video and released in July 2024. The supernatural horror drama has received international acclaim, with recognition at the American Black Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival, Africa Movie Academy Awards and Vancouver Horror Show.Ogo was selected for the BIFA 2025 Genre cohort and is also a leading UK creator in the generative AI space, with creative partnerships including Kling AI, OpenArt, Dreamina and InVideo. His influences include Park Chan-wook, Akira Kurosawa, David Fincher, John Woo and Michael Mann.
